Dr. Menand graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Weill Cornell Medical College with honors in service. She completed residency training in Psychiatry at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident in Psychiatry.
She was the 2019 recipient of the Richard N. Kohl Prize for Excellence in Psychiatry from the Weill Cornell Department of Psychiatry, the Leah J. Dickstein, M.D. Award from the Association of Women Psychiatrists, and the Medical Society of the State of New York Award for outstanding community service. She has published and given talks on topics related to health disparities and systems of care. In addition to seeing patients in private practice, she works as an attending physician for Janian Medical Care, delivering psychiatric services to homeless and formerly homeless individuals throughout New York City.
Dr. Menand is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
